Down South out in the Woods By Sara Valor Down south out in the woods of the southern US, the weather does not seem to be making up its mind whether to stay cold now that it is winter or if it would rather see us digging out our shorts and tee shirts. It is no wonder that so many individuals get sick from one week to the other down here. One day it is below 20 degrees and the next it may be 79 degrees here during the winter of the southeast. One day we turn up the heat, and then the next day it is sweltering inside, because the temperature is high outside, where the past day it was cold. Indeed it would be a funny thing to watch as southern people pull on and jerk off their clothing each day of winter trying to get comfortable.
