Bring on the Housekeeping Inventions

What kind of inventions am I waiting for?
I'm waiting for the ideal model of Rosie the Robot!
Of course, I doubt that I'll be getting a Rosie robot anytime soon to do all those chores that seem to pile up when you work and have a family. So, until then I'll be glad to see an invention that makes the floor an automatic vacuum cleaner that knows the difference between dust, dirt and all those tinnie tiny pieces of paper that seemingly come from out of no where to huddle in the crooks and crannies of a home that is well lived in and the diamond that falls loosely from its setting. I mean I want a self-cleaning floor with some common sense. Yes, that's it a self-cleaning floor that sucks up the dirt and dust and nicely files away any diamonds that may fall in amongst the litter. Bring on the housekeeping inventions. Flooring that sucks, that is exactly what I am waiting for!

Self cleaning floors? Doesn't everybody already have them? Here in Spain my floors are all marble and all I need to do to clean them is leave my doors open (at this time of the year they are never closed) so that the through draft will sweep all the detritus off the balcony into the street. In spring time, this process is a great feature for birds who spend hours searching for the many hairs and the fluff that my dogs shed. Birds in this area have very comfortable (upholstered) nests.

Yes RF, that would fill the ticket, let me go put that on my wishlist :)
If you lived in the shower all you have to do is turn on the water and it's clean with the dirt going down the drain.
